Events & Attractions are based in rural North Yorkshire and create bespoke funfairs for the likes of Castle Howard, Ministry of Sound, Museum of Science and Industry and the BBC.
They’ve been doing it for over 25 years and know how to add a dash of magic.
But fairground hire market can be a noisy place, so Events & Attractions were looking for a new brand identity that would cut through the clamour. They wanted a measured and sophisticated way to communicate their experience and expertise.
They also wanted a new look and feel that would work beautifully across digital, print and outdoor.
To infuse the brand with a calm and refined quality, we created a set of clean, aspirational line drawings of quintessential fairground iconography – the helter-skelter, the roller coaster, the big top.
The picture-book simplicity of the design was a visual nod to the heyday of the fairground -when its rides and stalls inspired genuine wonder. We paired the designs with a colour palette rich in gold, grey and dark blues, emphasising sophistication and heritage.
Our work on the visual assets included the development of a new brand mark, logo and typography.
The new identity was then applied across the media mix, from digital through print and into outdoor advertising.
